The Ambassador of Turkmenistan Met with American Businesses

On May 19, 2026, in Washington, D.C., Esen Aidogdyev, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the United States, met with Eric Stewart, Executive Director of the Turkmen-American Business Council, as well as representatives of the companies that are members of the Council.

During the meeting, the Ambassador made a presentation on the priority areas of our country's economic development in connection with the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence and the 2026 slogan "Independent, Eternally Neutral Turkmenistan - the Homeland of the Brave Horse-Murda." The sides exchanged views on issues of expanding cooperation in trade and economy, investment, transport, agriculture, energy, industry, and the private sector.

The meeting participants noted the important role of the Turkmen-American Business Council in strengthening direct ties between the business communities of the two countries and discussed preparations for the planned visit of an American business delegation to Turkmenistan later this year.
